Laura is an award-winning illustrator whose work over the years has earned the Bologna Ragazzi Award, a V&A Illustrated Book Award, the Quentin Blake Prize, has been voted an ADC Young Gun and was winner of the children’s book illustration award at the Biennial of Illustration Bratislava, the first Brit to hold this title in 20 years.

She lives and works in London and has always loved to draw, particularly people lost in their thoughts and battles.

Laura is inspired by the books of William Steig, James Marshall and Andre Francois and finds illustrating for children both exhilarating and terrifying.
